The second phase of our stadium enhancements is complete!!! The turf in installed and being used for Perry Hall High School Home Athletic Events and Perry Hall Rec sports.
Perry Hall High School has a long-standing tradition and a commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics, and recognizes that interscholastic athletics is without a doubt one of the most visible elements of our school system. By virtue of their participation, our student-athletes are provided with opportunities to build and publicly display character; learn the value of sportsmanship and teamwork; display leadership, and learn to deal with both adversity and prosperity. Our continued commitment to excellence compels us to provide our student-athletes, coaches and our high school community with the very best athletic experience.
The current condition of our athletic fields and facilities has led us to embark on a multi phased /multi-year stadium and athletic facilities enhancement project or S.A.F.E. project, which will not only benefit the high school, but will benefit our local youth recreation programs as well as the local community.
The initial phase of this project involved the replacement of our scoreboard with a state of the art digital scoreboard was completed in 2012.
Turf was completed in April 2019!
Subsequent phases of the project include; replacing the track and pressbox; bringing water and restroom facilities to the stadium; repositioning lower fields due to poor grading and drainage; and a lower field; and lower field lighting and bleachers. These many enhancements will not only improve the safety of our facilities, but will also increase access and availability for both high school and the many youth programs. As you can see, we will certainly not be able to accomplish our goals without the support of local business as well as the community.
The Softball and Baseball fields need improvements along with Gymnasium enhancements to include a scoreboard and fans or air conditioning.
We are currently seeking sponsors willing to donate any amount as well as becoming potential advertising sponsors in support of our S.A.F.E project.
