Boys Soccer - Cancer Awareness Game
Thursday, October 10, 2019
6:15 PM - 8:00 PM
Al Miller Stadium
Shelley Shank was the mother of current Gator soccer player, Jason Shank. She exemplified kindness and gave those around her so much joy. Shelley was a generous and gentle soul, who loved her family and friends immensely, and that love was reciprocated ten-fold. On July 7, 2019, Shelley passed away.

After going through chemotherapy, Shelley dedicated her efforts to helping others going through a similar experience. She helped create Shelley's Sunshine Kits, which provides a range of goods to help ease the short term chemo symptoms. Some of these items include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Body Lotion (for dry chemo skin)
• Lip Balm (for chapped lips)
• Tissues (for tears)
• Bottled spring water (for hydration)
• Peppermint candy (for metallic chemo-taste)
• Eye mask & small blanket
• Hand sanitizer
• Socks (for cold toes)
• Knit cap (for cold heads)
• Personal message (for cheering-up!)
• Books or magazines, puzzles, pens and pencils

We will be collecting items before, leading up to, and during our soccer game on October 10, when the Perry Hall Gators host Eastern Tech at Al Miller Stadium at 5:45. Admission to the game is free if you donate an item!

The school will be supporting our efforts to collect items. If you cannot attend the game, please drop your items off to the front office during school hours.

Please help us make this a memorable night, honoring one of the most special members of our Perry Hall family. In doing so, you can make a huge difference
